The Dreamer

Ahh the moment I shot this picture of Maddie gazing out the window, I knew I wanted to draw her.  I finally got around to sketching the photograph.  I so wanted to capture the feelings of the moment, I think I did that with the picture, & hope that I was also able to transfer these feelings onto paper with pencil. I can only begin to imagine what thoughts are running through her little 5 year old head here.

Although I'm afraid she doesn't quite look like a 5 year old here :( Gah! I've aged her :'(   I see young lady when I look at this...
